Portaging

Seagull Message Board Visitors,

The
February 2010 Photo Context is on!

This month's theme: Portaging

This photo contest features shots of the activity we all look forward too and rarely plan adequately for... portaging. Let's see those shots of bulging muscles and heroic efforts performed on the portage trail!

Deadline to enter contest: Midnight, February 28th.

How to Enter: Just reply to this thread and post your picture as an attachment. Feel free to provide a caption for the photo, including location and date, but it is not necessary.

Contest Rules:

  • Only one photo can be submitted by participant each month. If multiple photos are submitted by the same participant, only the first one submitted will be entered (so save them for subsequent months).
  • Each participant can only win one time per year.
  • The photo submitted has to be taken by the person submitting it.
  • By submitting the photo to the contest, the participant allows Seagull Outfitters to use the photo on their website or other publications as marketing material.
  • The participant must register (for free) on the Seagull website before entering the contest.
  • All photos must be appropriate and in good taste, no exceptions.
  • Photos must be submitted in .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .gif, .bmp, .png, .pdf file format and a maximum file size of 300KB.

A Seagull Outfitters hat will be awarded to the monthly winner, as well as having their winning photo displayed on the "Winners" page for bragging rights on the Seagull Outfitters website. And monthly winners will be automatically entered in the Best Photo of the Year contest! Winner of this contest will receive a gift certificate to be used at Seagull Outfitters.

Thank you all in advance for your participation. Remember to stop back each month as there will be a new theme beginning on the first day of each month.

Guess I can't win, but I'll share this one.

This was Dead Man's Portage in 08.  I tried to tell my wife that she might as well step in it but she did her best to avoid the muck.  ( She's gonna kill me if she sees that I posted this pic of her backside.)  LOL

Thank you! I'm honored. Like I said, right place at the right time. I was probably just procrastinating loading up with my own packs.
