KipO ~

Are you really going to spend $200 on a paddle?

$200!?!?  No way.  They are certainly perdy to look at though.  I may just get a basic Beavertail as a back-up paddle.  Not sure yet.

By the way,  1 month to go!

Anyone on the forum going?

I would love to go but if I drive that far, I want to be able to spend money.  It's kind-of in short supply right now.  Maybe next year.

I am getting very excited for this year's trips.  As such, I spend a lot of time reading forums and thinking about things.  While I'm doing that, I keep a wish list of things to get at Canoecopia.  The 20% discount really makes it hard to pass up things I want.  Here is my list so far:
-  Lots of cache lake foods
-  Another few maps
-  A grate/grill for quetico
-  ENO hammock
-  Basecamp water filter
-  CCS lean 3+  (i'm still trying to convince myself that this is a required thing)
-  CCS reflective rope
-  Fishing stuff (landing net, oddball jigs, circle hooks, forceps)
-  Maybe a new paddle
