		<title><![CDATA[Must do's on the Gunflint/north shore..]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[My family will be staying in a cabin on Seagull lake for a week in August.&nbsp; I have a few overnight permits, but I don't think will will spend more than a few nights on seagull and surrounding lakes..<br><br>What other things can you recommend while we aren't in the BW? I have a map of all the hiking trails, points of interest.. I have a few motorcycles I will bring.<br><br>Are there any spook stories in this area?&nbsp; Id love to take them for a hike and then explain how cabin fever got to this guy and he went crazy and...&nbsp; lol<br><br>Just looking for suggestions so I always have something cool to do for them. <br><br>Thanks! <br> <p>Forum: <a href="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/?forum=41976">General Questions and Advice</a>

		<title><![CDATA[Silver Falls area history]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[I know if you have had a trip through Cache Bay and Silver Falls portage you have heard of the Indian ambush at the wall near Silver Falls.&nbsp; I love Archeology and wonder if this was as big of a ambush/battle as described and if something could be found from it.&nbsp; I know it is probably not ethical or legal to keep something you may have found from the area if you were looking but it would be neat.&nbsp; <br><br>If I would be looking and found something I would probably turn it into the ranger cabin on Cache bay and hope they would keep it on display.<br><br>It would be neat to come back years later and show people what I found and tell them I found it and in 30 minutes I'll show you where.<br> <p>Forum: <a href="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/?forum=41973">Quetico Routes and Lakes</a>

		<title><![CDATA[Tips for Walleye in BWCA]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[<p style="margin: 0px;">Myself and 3 friends are going to be doing the Ogish base camp for 7 days in early June.&nbsp; I was wondering if anyone had any tips for walleyes, the last trip we did was the thunder point loop over 7 days,&nbsp; It was a haul!!&nbsp; we didnt get to do too much fishing but we did manage to catch plenty of smallies which we fried up and were delicious.&nbsp; So, in this trip we are gonna camp out on Ogish and do a lot more fishing, so any tips will be helpful.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">Thanks!</p> <p>Forum: <a href="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/?forum=41974">All things Fishing</a>

		<title><![CDATA[Cache Bay Campsites]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[Does anyone know of a campsite or has camped on the very east side of Cache Bay?&nbsp; Like east and a little north of the ranger station.&nbsp; I know about the island site to the east of the ranger station, been there but I'm talking about east of that island yet.&nbsp; <br>Looking at Google Earth it appears there are possible beach areas on the shore and I remember looking in that direction last time I was there and it looked like there may be some open areas along the shore line. <br>What is your favorite spot to camp in Cache Bay?&nbsp; I've never been to the West of the Ranger station either.&nbsp; We will probaly camp the last night of our trip in Cache Bay this summer and I am looking to find a decent spot.&nbsp; <br><br>Thanks<br> <p>Forum: <a href="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/?forum=41973">Quetico Routes and Lakes</a>

		<title><![CDATA[Fishing where you live]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[Well, I was able to get the canoe out and put it on a local river today in NW Arkansas.&nbsp; The wind blew us around but we were able to land&nbsp;several smallmouth and largemouth bass.&nbsp; We were actually trying to pick up a Walleye since they are running in the rivers right now but had no luck.&nbsp; We did, however, see about 30 bald eagles sitting in trees or flying just above us over the river.&nbsp; At one point we saw a group of 13 eagles flying in a group just at the top of the trees.&nbsp; It was an awesome sight.<br><br>What about everyone else?&nbsp; Have you been able to get the canoe into the water where you live?&nbsp; <br><br>Terry<br> <p>Forum: <a href="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/?forum=41976">General Questions and Advice</a>

		<title><![CDATA[Is seagull the best choice.]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[Hello new here. <br>&nbsp;Ive been searching for the best location to introduce my family of 6 to the boundary waters in early august.&nbsp; Iv been inside the BW's 4 times, but the rest of my family only have a bit of kayak experience. I know first hand how challenging the BW's can be and want to ease my family in slowly.&nbsp; I'm thinking about renting a <a target="_blank" href="http://www.vrbo.com/297998">cabin</a> on seagull and taking them on day trips until they feel more comfortable to venture further.&nbsp; <br>What part of the lake is the most remote, or where would we find seclusion?&nbsp; Alpine lake looks a bit to burned to portage to so what other areas survived the fires?&nbsp; This may sound corny..&nbsp; But how far would we need to travel back on gunflint to get internet service in case one of the group feels the need? <br><br>Thanks!<br><br> <p>Forum: <a href="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/?forum=41976">General Questions and Advice</a>

		<description><![CDATA[Well, it's the end of October and it's never too early to start planning trips for next year.&nbsp; Someone had to start this thread so I thought I'd belly up to the bar and get it going.&nbsp; I don't know what time I'm going just yet but I'm already making plans with the guys.&nbsp; <br><br>I've been sorting through my gear to see if there is anything which needs to be replaced.&nbsp; (I need to make out a Christmas list soon you know)&nbsp; Have any new gear ideas for your trip next year?&nbsp; I think I'm going to fine tune my cookware a little.<br><br>Permits for Quetico can be reserved soon after the first of the year so that's about three months away if I'm not mistaken.&nbsp; I'm already excited to get my group's date nailed down.&nbsp; Ice hasn't formed on the lakes yet and I'm already looking forward to the thaw at the end of April. <IMG src="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/images/boards/smilies/crazy.gif" align=absMiddle border=0><br><br>Terry<br><br><br><br><br> <p>Forum: <a href="http://forums.seagulloutfitters.com/?forum=74483">What the Canoe Country Does for you</a>

Let's see those photos of your favorite waterfalls. We are nearing the end of the 2011 contests. Remember, an annual&nbsp;winner is chosen from the monthly winners, so get those photos submitted!</SPAN><br><SPAN><SPAN><BR><SPAN><U>Deadline to enter contest</U>: <B>Midnight,&nbsp;October 31st</B>.<BR><BR><U>How to Enter</U>: Just reply to this thread and post your picture as an attachment.
